Shouldn’t a festival as such been taking place in Africa? I have travelled and attended events across the world,I am was very impressed with what i saw in Tübingen Afrika Festival 2019. You get the spirit as you alight from at the Airport, I saw the communication driving from Stuttgart Airport to Tübingen University Town, from the organization, its programms and visitors, Africa was felt and present. Susan Tatah is a singer as well, we danced at the festival spiritual gatherings as she led and conducted. African women don’t need empowerment, all they need is recognition. Africans from across Europe and Africa in one place, what an opportunity for Africa and its young Dynamic brains, potentials which if rightly harnessed shall take African to a higher scale.

Platforms and festivals are a great opportunity for exposure, generate leads and conversation geared to development and unity, after having attended and participated at the International Afrika Festivals Tübingen , Germany i think it is time to use this space, forge ahead the development of Africa and Africans across Africa and in the Diaspora. Tanzanian Artist and Particpants at this event are welcomed to exhibit, learn and connect with counterparts in the Diaspora for sustainability and development of Motherland.

I am impressed with Susan Tatah’s engagement for Africa and Africans in Germany, this festival is truly African, a kind of Africa in Miniature one will describe. We shall make sure this venture and initiative gains exposure and visibility on the continent, as this shall go to enhance partnerships in every sector for the unity and development of Africa. Opportunities are enormous our here and this platform can be the contact and information point for both Africans on the continent and German. Congratulations to Susan Tatah for this opportunity
As a team member, since 2010, we have had to managed huge audiences, visitors, traders, exhibitors, family programms, concerts, forums, parade and much more but each year we have grown bigger. Volunteering to promote your people and continent is a noble cause, not everyone is given the talent to serve. Susan Tatah has empowered million Africans through this festival, what a humble way to work and serve Africa. I live in France but each year, i rally my drummer and we meet our leader Aly – Bayo who is board on the festival team, most often we sleep on the festival ground because the enjoyment is too much to sleep out of the festival. Due to this huge demand, 2022 we are offering a camping direct on the festival. We are ready for you this year 2022
I attended the Festival in 2013, a great event and its aftershow party in Stuttgart, a small Africa continent in the Diaspora, the atmosphere here is family – As Africans and artist we know where the home feeling is when we go on tour. In Tübingen, you come and get involved, no double standards, oragnizers are normal, simple and family.
What an excitement as the news broke that the festival shall take place this year 2022. Africans have been put on a wait since 2yrs+ Covid Lock down, International Afrika Festival Tübingen, Germany is a summer gathering, family meeting place for Africans in the Diaspora, Africans are simply happy and feel at home here. This mega festival though had faced challenges – bad weather has been the biggest challenge at this festival, causing damages in six figure digits as reported by Susan Tatah – The lady behind this massive event. However she never gave up her dream for Africa and Africans, she has been consistent and always smiling. The energy at Tübingen Afrika Festival cannot be described, the festival is a must attend to get the feeling. I hear this year, is going to bring surprises. To Afronews this is normal as every edition of this Festval has never been the same. We shall all gather in Tübingen this year and the wait has started.
What a great experience it was to be in Tübingen Afrika Festival 2015, African mothers from different countries welcome me and pray for me at the festival – they wish me well on this journey as African artist. Festivals and African events are difference for us Artist, in Tübingen, was more than just a festival, here is a family festival where everyone feels at home. The Spirit here is very family.
I enjoyed being in Tübingen Afrika Festival, well organized and friendly envvironment, you feel at home being here. I had a great concert in the concert tent on the Festival ground, when i spoke to Susan Tatah why was it not necessary to hold the concert on stage. Concert visitors come for super stars like you, these are African music lovers. Then i realized how much people in attendance remain at the open air main stage. Tübingen was a great experience for me, a sister and team working very hard to provide such a huge platform. Thanks Susan Tatah for the Invitation

Such a huge Festival with big Market of African products – food and more, organized by An African queen sister Susan Tatah, was amazing being in Tübingen, for my first time. Unfortunately Festivals and events organized by Africans, women in particulary are not financially supported, this was the case in Tübingen. The stage equipments and management need much support, I trully understand the financial constraints and burden involved with organizers. In as much as we do appreciate their engagement, we as Africans must sponsor such big ventures and engagements. A festival like this with huge attending audience, a showcase of Africa and its Diaspora is a very great opportunity for coorperations and private persons in Africa and abroad. Lets support the few that are doing sacrifices to promote Africa. Congratulation to you sister Tatah

A visit at International Afrika Festival Tübingen was empowering, you see – this event is a melting pot of Africa, here you will understand that sometimes all we need is to tear down the walls in our minds, mindset that keeps people disconnected. Take a look at other countries such as – America, Canada, UK… Africans in these communities are building businesses, economy and developmental connections to Africa as compared to Germany. Susan Tatah is teaching us here, how simple the unity of African can look like, as a matter of fact world unity not just Africa. It only needed us to make the move, I encourage everyone to make a move and experience original African culture, food – Music …organized by Africans.

One will think that such big festivals could only be organized by Germans and in Berlin not in a Province like Tübingen…and I learnt that this is just the 4th Edition! Africa owe it a duty to support Susan Tatah in her loyal cause, promoting Africa in Germany. This is simply fantastic, I promise we shall support her and people will see a market difference at this festival, Africa shall be portryed differently. I am honored to have been invited at this festival, Susan Tatah is the cultural ambassador for Africa, simply fantastic.

Invited by Susan Tatah as honorable guest at the 3rd Africa Business Forum – Tübingen International Afrika Festival in 2014, i was honored to present opportunity in Africa and Ghana in Particular. Amongst other visiting delegates were Dr Gunter Nooke – Angela Merkels Africa correspondent for Federal Republic Germany, Joachim Furchtel – Secretary of State for the ruling party, Dr Karamba Diaby – Parliamentarian SDP ruling Party, Civil Society Delegates from across Europe and Africa, – Dr Theophile Mabanza.. It is our duty to rally our support behind our Diaspora who are engaged and creating opportunities for Africa in Germany. The challenges on our continent requires a collective efforts and commitment amongst Africans in the Diaspora and Africans in on the continent.

How I wish Afrika Festival Tübingen was initiated during my Student years at the University in Tübingen. ” The African Continent is on the move and I am pleased about the growing interest in Africa. But the fascinating aspect about this move is the fact that Africans have rediscovered their culture and heritage, something that gives self-confidence and strength and the partnership with Africa can only gain depth and inspiration. Quotes 2010 words of greetings.

In 2013 in a delegation of 10+ African Ambassadors in Berlin, we visited the International Afrika Festivals Tübingen and was fascinated but also very proud of what our Diaspora is doing to promote the image of Africa in Germany and worldwide. Sure, they are many Africa Festivals in Germany but Tübingen Afrika Festivals gave you a home feeling. We were warmly welcomed by the people of Tübingen, I finally adopted a German girl ( Dunja Baümgartner) who narrated the history of women in DRC Congo to my greatest shock and surprised, she has never been out of Germany. At Tübingen, we were received with respect and inquisitiveness as the Diaspora always had another notion about us Diplomats but here we eat and danced together just like back on the continent. What a feeling and engagement – our gratitudes to Susan Tatah and team for such excellent work for Africa.
